India's West Coast CFR prices for high sulfur petcoke had a strong increase in the month of March 2017, with mid-sulfur petcoke prices expanding as well at a similar pace, according to CW Research's India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment update for March.

The average cost of burning high sulfur petcoke is at a discount of 22+ percent in March 2017, on an mmBTU basis, when compared to Richard Bays coal for the West Coast. In the previous month, the discount rate was at 30+ percent.

There were no reported congestions at the ports around India.

The extended March update of the India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment also includes refinery and cement production in India and the United States, market and refinery updates, and more.

The monthly update is available as an annual subscription in individual or corporate license forms.
