{reg}Globus Maritime, Nasdaq-listed Greek dry bulk owner, took its fleet to 7 vessels with the purchase of a Japanese-built kamsarmax bulker, reports Splash 247.
The company acquired a 2011-built kamsarmax, built by Universal Shipbuilding Corporation, for USD 16.2 million or USD 16.5 million, depending on the delivery timing, scheduled from April 1 to August 15.
After the last acquisition, Globus' fleet will reach 7 vessels including 2 kamsarmaxes. The company has recently completed a USD 30 million fundraiser via direct offering, indicating they also eye for further buys.
