India’s West Coast CFR prices for high sulfur petcoke kept declining in June 2017, with mid-sulfur petcoke prices contracting as well at a similar pace, according to CW Research’s India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment update for June.
The average cost of burning high sulfur petcoke is at a premium of 17+ percent in June 2017, on an mmBTU basis, when compared to Richards Bay coal for the West Coast. In the previous month, the premium rate was at 18+ percent.
There were no reported congestions at the ports around India.
