In the Mediterranean Basin region, the FOB prices for prompt deliveries of bulk ordinary Portland cement and clinker fell when compared to the previous month, according to the CW Research’s November update of Mediterranean Basin cement and clinker prompt delivery cargo price assessment.
“Cement and clinker prices dropped monthly in the Med Basin region, reflecting the tightening competition in the region. As main producers ramp up production aiming to increase exports, prices could be affected further,” said Ana Almeida, Analyst with the CW Group’s European team.
