In mid-January, India's West Coast CFR average prices for high and mid-sulfur petcoke recorded a very slight contraction compared to the previous month, according to CW Research's India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment update for January.

The average cost of burning high-sulfur petcoke is currently at a premium of around 26+ percent, on an mmBTU basis, when compared to Richards Bay coal for West Coast. In December, the discount rate stood at around 24 percent.

The mid-January update of the India Petcoke CFR Price Assessment also includes refinery and cement production in India and the United States, market and refinery updates, the outlook for the next three months, and more.

The monthly update is available as an annual subscription in individual or corporate license forms.
