He will begin his new managing position at the Frey Bentosin pulp mill in March 2014.

The company produces pulp from fast-growing eucalyptus in Uruguay, which corresponds to birch pulp, a short fiber pulp. Eucalyptus pulp is largely exported to Chinese and European markets.

"In early December, I have visited the factory, the land, its culture and the local people. I got a good impression: the facility is modern, environmentally friendly and efficient", said Juha Kääriäinen, the new plant manager.{/reg}
