In this issue of the Feature series, CemWeek is talking to Alimiya Osman, Head of Projects at Tanzania's Tanga Cement Company. Osman recently spearheaded a project to modernize the Tanga plant, installing a new Process Control System (PCS).

The project, motivated in part by difficulties in maintaining the 1980s plant's old analog systems, has been a key part in raising further the plant efficiency and enhance the safety of its.
